Training and Education Resources

Oregon OSHA's mission is advance and improve workplace safety and health for all Oregon workers. The primary way to reduce injuries is to create workplaces where accidents are prevented, and workers are adequately trained in the processes and equipment needed to perform their work.

Accident prevention is working. The number of workplace fatalities in Oregon has been reduced by 60 percent since the Oregon Safe Employment Act became law in 1973. Oregon OSHA offers a variety of training classes, study materials, and resources available to help employers create safer places to earn a living, and to help businesses that are ready to grow.
