Accessories - Non-Sliding Book Cover

Materials used:
  • rubberized shelf liner

Non-sliding book cover
Case Study

A typing exercise book was designed to be standing up (1) while students completed the typing lessons. However, the book was always sliding down (2) because the book cover was slippery. When the book was lying flat on the desktop, the students had to turn their heads and bend their necks to read the text.

Kyle, a 6th-grade student, came up with a creative solution! He brought rubberized shelf liner from home and covered the edges of the book cover (3). This prevented it from sliding. All typing books are now easier to use. Thanks Kyle! (See Acknowledgments)
