Accessories - Booster Seats

Material used in these examples:
  • hard foam core
You can also use thick pillows from home, seat cushions, or a large child's booster seat. The seat must be securely fastened to the seat pan so it cannot slide off.

Seat height raised using foam pillowPurpose:
To raise the student when nothing else can change height.

Concern:
The student cannot get elbow height level with the keyboard height. Neither the table nor the keyboard can be lowered.

Solution:
Hard foam core pillow was fastened to the seat pan temporarily.

The booster seat allowed the student to type at elbow height and to use the backrest on the chair more comfortably.

She still needs to add back support. Look at back pillows, too.
