Accessories - Document Holders

Materials used in these examples:
  • a stable box
  • post-it notes
  • binder clip
A clipboard leaning between the computer and the keyboard will also work.

Box used to support documentPurpose:
To move the document into a better viewing angle and viewing distance.

Concern:
The students must turn their heads and bend their necks excessively to read the text on their material. Students look most frequently at their source documents and the keyboard when typing.

Solution:
A box placed right next to the monitor supported the document.

Post-it notes used to hold paperPurpose:
Same as above, to move the document into a better viewing angle and viewing distance.

Concern:
Student needs to have the document closer, in the example above, to be able to read the text.

Solution:
Easy to remove post-it notes.

Binder clip used to hold papers
Case Study

A student came up with this idea for a document holder. He used a binder clip to hold the paper, a paper clip to hold the binder clip and tape to hold the paper clip onto the monitor. It was easy to hold several pages in the binder clip at the same time.
