Students - How to Do It

Keyboard
Look at the pictures and ideas below for ways to make some changes to have your body fit your workstation better.

Case study

Concern:
Look at the picture below to see how the student pushes his shoulders up and his elbows out while typing. The keyboard is too high and he is sitting very close to the edge of the desk. In addition, when he uses the mouse he must reach far out to the side, just as the girl is in the picture to the right. Their lower arms rest on the edges of the desks.

Challenge: The chairs are too low and no other desks or chairs are available.

Applied Ergonomic Solution: A chair can be raised with the help of wooden blocks. However, you must make sure that it is perfectly even and stable.

Keep the mouse right in front of you if you do not need to use the keyboard with the software you are currently using.
