ASSIGNMENTS

Important Tip! Writing drafts first, before submitting coursework, will help improve the quality of your work. On a sheet of paper, write your first draft responses for the following assignments. When finished, return to the online assignments page, enter your final coursework, and complete the course evaluation and certificate information.

See Appendix B for help in answering the extended response assignments.

Assignment 1: List and briefly describe each of the steps in the accident investigation procedure discussed in the course.

Assignment 2: Discuss your response to an interviewee who accuses you of interviewing only to fix blame.

Assignment 3: Give examples of two surface causes for an accident. Describe a possible root cause for each surface cause.

Congratulations! Now that you've drafted all of the assignments and quiz questions, go online to the Final Assignments and Quiz page to enter your coursework. I'll normally respond to your assignments within one workday with the good news that your certificate is on the way... or, I'll ask you to redo one or more of the assignments. In either case, you'll hear from me shortly. As always, if you have any questions or comments about the assignments, feel free to email me at larry.fipps@state.or.us
