The purpose of Oregon OSHA's public education workshops and on-site
presentations is to help equip employers and workers with guidance on
establishing effective internal training or safety and health management
programs.

information about on-site instruction
Instruction that
is provided by Oregon OSHA to employers or workers cannot serve as a substitute for training required under Oregon OSHA rules. Employers in Oregon are required
to ensure a safe and healthful work environment for their employees, including providing any training and supervision necessary for the employee to safely
perform their duties.
Oregon OSHA offers on-site instruction and informational presentations
to those who are responsible for employee safety and health, such as safety
committees, supervisors, and managers.
