If you do not learn about the incident at the time it occurs, you must report the incident within 8 hours of the time it was reported to you, your agent, or employee. Report the overnight hospitalization of any employee within 24 hoursIf one or more employees are hospitalized overnight, you must contact OR-OSHA within 24 hours after occurrence or employer knowledge. Note: Overnight hospitalization for medical treatment only. Hospitalization for observation is not reportable, nor is emergency room treatment. Make sure that any equipment involved in a fatality or catastrophe is not movedYou must not move equipment involved in a work-related accident or incident if either of the following results: A death or 3 or more employees are admitted to the hospital.
