Agriculture Labor Housing Advisory Committee

The Agriculture Labor Housing Advisory Committee's purpose is to strengthen the partnership of OR-OSHA and the private sector. The group's mission is to address issues affecting labor housing in the agriculture industry. Members of the group include representatives of labor, employers, grower organizations, and government and related non-profit agencies. The committee meets as needed.

The committee's first big project is to amend the current rules to be acceptable to federal OSHA. However, the committee will remain ready to work on any issues that impact employers who operate housing for Oregon's agricultural labor force and for the workers who live in that housing.
